The SEDC Board of Directors, comprised of business leaders from the private sector, has fiduciary responsibility for day-to-day operations and its purpose is to provide strategic direction and stakeholder alignment. The Board of Directors help secure the buy-in at all levels of investors and becomes an extension of the organization itself. Below are the tactical roles of the Board of Directors:
- Champion SEDC’s Advance Saratoga Strategic Plan
- Be an advocate for SEDC’s project outcomes
- Attend quarterly economic forecast and project update meetings
- Engage in SEDC’s Steering Committees and Events
