CTE Works - SEDC proud sponsor of the one-day interactive career exploration event.

CTE Works 2023 from WSWHE BOCES and Saratoga Economic Development Corporation SEDC

On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, WSWHE BOCES along with sponsors Saratoga County and SEDC, hosted CTE Works! The one-day interactive career exploration event was held at the Saratoga Springs City Center.


Nearly 1700 students from 30 school districts were in attendance. Students from 8th to 12th grade, from school districts throughout the WSWHE BOCES service area were exposed to the world of work in the local region which showcased the myriad of career opportunities available right in their own backyard.


Close to 50 local employers were on hand to discuss pathways in their industries, what their company has to offer and showed students hands-on activities as examples of their work.

Join SEDC for their Inaugural Pickleball Tournament, at Legacy Pickleball, on Friday, June 14, 2024! Health and wellness play a key role in ensuring economic success, so be sure to join us for a day of fun, healthy, and interactive tournament! The tournament will feature a round robin format with a guaranteed set number of games, followed by a single elimination tournament to determine a winner. The format will be decided when the number of teams is set. The cost is $125 per person, which includes food, a set number of games, a tutorial (if desired), and exclusive access to the venue. *Please note that the round robin format will be finalized closer to the event and will be dependent on the number of teams. Timing is subject to change.
